IEEE-Bangalore section organized 20th Annual symposium on emerging applications of ICT in utilities & AIYEHUM at Atria hotel on 4th & 5th of November in collaboration with Infosys & GE. The main objective of the event was to provide a platform for people across India to share and showcase their ideas. This was done through paper presentations.
The day began with an interesting session on Detection & surveillance systems.

RoboMSR is conducting a workshop in association with Li2 Innovations which is an initiative of IIT and IISc alumni, who are strongly passionate in the field of science and technology. Li2 is the national leader in applied training on Robotics, Embedded Systems and Mobile Computing for K-12 students, Engineering graduates and professionals. At the workshop you will taught how to make robots for Robo Wars hands-on. In the workshop you participants will be getting a take away kit.
Number of teams for the event is limited to 40 teams. So register for it asap and be a part of it.

IEEE-MSRIT and its subsidiaries (RoboMSR and Vrglinug) organized 2 workshops and a competition in association with IIT Kharagpur as a part of their techno-management fest Kshitij 2012.Both the workshops were given by representatives i3indya technologies
The first event "Remote Controlled Planes" was held on 8th October'11 , Saturday from 10am to 3pm. The workshop threw light on all aspects of RC Planes from modelling, construction, working and controlling of it.The event saw over 300 participants from various branches taking part in it.

Mock Placements 2011

IEEE MSRIT conducted mock placements for 3rd and 4th year students to give them a feel of the real placements.

The event which was supported by COGNIZANT saw around 200 participants from various circuit and CSE/ISE branches participate.

There were 2 rounds. The written round was conducted on the 15th of September followed by Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) on the 17th of September. The written round paper GD and PI was conducted by a panel of 6 members from Cognizant.

5 people were awarded for their performance in the event.

Technozion is the technical symposium of National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NIT-W). Over the years it has grown to become the second largest technical fest in southern India. Technozion provides a platform for students to showcase their talent in the field of science and technology and also opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

HP collaborated with GINI for the first time for a university level student interaction. The event was held at MS Ramaiah Institute Of Technology. The event was a big success with more than 150 attendees from various colleges across Bangalore. The talk on information security was at fundamental level for university students which ignited young minds to pursue research in the field of information security.

Aavishkaar '10

Aavishkaar is the annual technical fest conducted by IEEE MSRIT Student Branch. It was started in the year 2004 by the first IEEE MSRIT student branch aimed that providing a platform for the students from technical backgrounds to compete in a number of exciting events to win prizes, and most importantly to gain recognition among their peers. It was considered to be one of the best and most competitive vents that year.Ever since, Aavishkaar has been a popular event at MSRIT drawing a large number of participation from many colleges in Karnataka and other cities.

Pratyaksha 2008 – A Unique Lecture Series
The IEEE MSRIT conducted a lecture series – Pratyaksha 08 on 13th, 14th and 15th February 2008. The lecture series had talks by,
